One matrix. Many ways to repair and regenerate tissue.
EBM is an acellular collagen scaffold engineered to work with the body’s own repair processes.
EBM is a biomedical device based on fetal and neonatal bovine dermis. Our process removes cells, lipids and non-collagen proteins while preserving the natural structure of the dermal collagen scaffold. The result is a clean, strong scaffold that the body can integrate into new tissue.
Because EBM is a platform rather than a single product, the same core process can be adapted into different formats and devices. That shortens development for our partners and gives our own pipeline a proven starting point.
What makes EBM different
Native collagen structure
Rich in type III collagen, the form found in developing and healing tissues.
Strong without crosslinking
Handles and holds sutures well while staying soft and conformable.
Highly purified
Free of cellular remnants, lipids and non-collagen proteins.
Built for integration
Designed to support cell repopulation and new blood vessel growth.
High absorbing capacity
Primed for localized delivery of therapeutic agents.
Formats
Sheet matrices
Flexible scaffolds for surgical soft tissue repair.
Injectable matrices
Ultrafine collagen particles that act as microscaffolds, delivered by injection. Injectable formats are investigational.
Track record
EBM-based sheet devices have been used in FDA-cleared implantable devices since 2003.
